What Do We Study Next?

  “What do we study next?” is a question that every LifeGroup and every Sunday School class wrestles with.  The small group ministry staff at Eastview Christian Church has identified five questions they want leaders to ask when they are looking for a new study. Maybe these five questions will help you as you plan for your next study. What do our group members need to study in this season? Does our group tend to over-emphasize one topic while neglecting another? If a member of my group faithfully participates for the next 3 years, what will this person? What will be lacking from their learning? Do we see Scripture only with a microscope rather than occasionally with a telescope?

Dallas Willard on Discipleship

Dallas Willard is one of the most important writers on discipleship and the spiritual life.  I hate to say it, but he is one of the most difficult writers that I have read–I usually have to read each sentence twice to understand that he is saying.  But, I am glad that I took the time what he had written.
